wanderlust in squaw valley

I’ve now got four Wanderlust festivals under my belt. The locations keep getting more gorgeous! I returned home from Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in North Lake Tahoe, CA a few days ago. This was by far the most picturesque location (though Aspen follows closely behind!).

Between the flower arranging and pillow placements I was able to escape to see some of the landscape. I drove about an hour and a half from Squaw Valley to Nevada City, CA to pick up these AMAZING flowers from the Soil Sisters. We used these to make over 30 arrangements for our classrooms and Farm to Table event!

I need to be better about taking photographs of the classrooms! This is the only shot I have from Squaw. This was the setup for our venue called the Greatest Place, which was the largest venue (600 yogis at capacity! Crazy!) The wooden centerpiece was designed by Michael Byrnes and Sarah & I curated the rugs, pillows, and candles.

Here’s Sarah, Stephanie and I with Cameron, mastermind at Saint Clair Jewelry. She was one of the vendors selling her goods the Rue Boheme market! I picked up a few treats for myself to add to my growing Saint Clair collection. :)

On the last day, I had some time to drive to Lake Tahoe and experience it. The water was pretty cold so I didn’t jump in, but the beauty of the lake and landscape justified the trip on its own!

I found these stones stacked like this on the beach — appropriately zen for a yoga festival, right?
